Through the power of hand drumming, singing, and spoken word, Rhythm & Voices brings Anishinaabe culture to life. These sessions explore the sacred rhythms of the drum, the voices of our ancestors, and the meaning behind land acknowledgments teaching not just words, but connection, respect, and presence.
 

What You’ll Experience:

Hand Drumming: Learn traditional drumming techniques, rhythms, and the cultural significance of the drum as the heartbeat of the community.
Story & Song: Singing and spoken words that carry teachings, history, and ancestral wisdom.
Land Acknowledgements: Understand the deeper meaning behind acknowledging the land, and learn how to do so with respect and intention.
